Last Sunday (February 22) we went to the Pre-Oscar Red Carpet Pawty and Fashion Show organized and hosted by Pupscouts at Wyndham hotel in Lower East Side of Manhattan. While we did not participate in the fashion show, we did attend in order help Pupscouts to raise funds for Mayor’s Alliance for NYC’s Animals and Yorkies 911 Rescues and to exchange the butt sniffs with famous doggy models and pet fashion designers. For this special occasion, our parents turned to fashion designer Juan Carlos Garcia to create for us special cocktail dresses.
This pawsome event was attended by nearly hundred doggies and their humans. The fashion show featured dozens of dogs wearing designs inspired by actual gowns and dresses worn by celebrities to Oscar’s. And, of course, paparazzi were everywhere, and we had not choice but to pose for some photos:

Pupscouts is a non-profit organization similar to human Girl Scouts/Boy Scouts, but strictly for dogs and their parents. Members engage in various fun activities, including earning badges, helping charities and organizations, meeting new friends and helping doggies to bond with their humans.
