In this post we would like to briefly talk about an amazing “Susie’s Senior Dogs” book that we received as a part of the VIP swag bag at the PetCon 2017 in New York City last fall. It has become one of the most popular books on our coffee table, and our human parents even purchased several more as gifts for their friends.

We have been following Erin Stanton’s viral Facebook (and Instagram) page for a while, and we are huge fans of her work. For those who do not know, Erin is an advocate for the adoption of elderly dogs, and she uses her website and social media pages to shine a spotlight on senior dogs looking for their new home, as well as rescues and shelters that care for them.
And now she has written a heartwarming collection of “happy ending” adoption stories of senior dogs finding love with new families, often despite the odds. Every story is complemented by beautiful photos, taken by either professional photographer, foster families or rescue workers.
